Day 2 of Career Week

The 2nd day of Career Week 2024 at IBU started with introduction speeches from Vice-Rector Asst. Prof. Dr. Seyhan Murtezan Ibrahimi and Career Service representative Gjorgji Ristov at the event titled "Navigating Youth Employment".

After welcome speeches, our distinguished guests Mr. Darko Petrovski, President of Macedonian Human Resources Association, Founder of Talent Business Incubator Step-up; Mr. Ilo Ristovski, CEO and President of the Management Board at Halk Insurance; Mr. Nikola Ognenovski, Business Accelerator UKIM (BAU); and Ms. Ana Strezovska, People Engagement Specialist at IT Labs addressed the audience on the topic "Navigating Youth Employment", which was a great opportunity to share with the student's personal experience and valuable insights from their successful careers.

Day 2 continued with Alumni talks, where we hosted graduated IBU students Jovana Gerasimovska and Shaban Ibish, which was filled with vivid discussion and useful advice.

Additionally, around 20 companies were presented at the Job Fair, including Halk Bank, Gorska, EVN, IT Labs, Dauti, Ramstore, Uni Credit, Filos Language School, Velkom Trejd, Adien, Grawe, Slice, Maliqi, Netin, Flex and many more.

We closed Day 2 with a successful and engaging workshop on the topic “Entrepreneurship skills for success“ held by Mr. Jovan Stalevski from #careerdevelopment CEFE Macedonia.
