Third-year students from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Law, and Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences embarked on a field visit and attended a clinical lecture at the premises of the State Statistical Office of the Republic of North Macedonia.
This session was conducted as part of the 'Research Methods for Social Sciences' course instructed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luljeta Sadiku, Prof. Dr. Kire Sharlamanov, and assistants Edita Mustafa and Ömer Ulutaş.
The clinical lecture held on the 14th of May was delivered by Ema Bogojevska (Department for Statistical and Mathematical Methods), Aida Jakupi (Department for Research and Development), and Teona Radeska (Department for Statistical and Mathematical Methods). The topics addressed were 'Sampling' and 'Data Collection'.
During the clinical lecture, students gained practical insights into the complexities related to sampling and methods of data collection accompanied by concrete examples.
The visit increased the readiness of the students for collecting primary data through the different methods and using the secondary data provided by the State Statistical Office for the purpose of their research projects and studies.
