IBU Teaching and Learning Center Organized Training for IBU Balkan Language School Instructors

Before starting the new academic year IBU Teaching and Learning Center, with the support of the English Language Teaching Department in the Faculty of Education, organized a comprehensive training program for IBU Balkan Language School instructors.

 

The training, held from September 16 to September 26, 2024, aimed to enhance teaching methodologies, assessment practices, and material development for English language instructors.

 

Hosted at the IBU campus in Skopje, the 28-hour training program covered a wide range of topics essential for effective English language teaching. Key areas included techniques for preparing placement tests, effective classroom practices, material development, and the integration of educational technologies in the classroom.

 

The training sessions were led by esteemed faculty members from IBU, including Prof. Dr. Ana Kecan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Igballe M. Fetishi, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marijana Klemenchich, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sezen Ismail, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emin Idrizi and Asst. Prof. Dr. Marija Stevkovska.

 

Instructors gained valuable insights into creating student-centered learning environments, developing effective classroom activities, and utilizing technology to improve teaching outcomes.
