International Balkan University (IBU) hosted the Türkiye-North Macedonia Economic Forum, which was held at IBU Campus, with the topic “Commercial Benefits of North Macedonia among Balkan Countries”.
The forum was organised in cooperation between IBU and Balkan Strategic Research Center (BASAM). More than 30 companies from North Macedonia and more than 50 companies from Türkiye participated in this forum.
The First Deputy Prime Minister of North Macedonia Mr. Izet Mexhiti, the Ambassador of Türkiye in Skopje H.E. Fatih Ulusoy, the Rector of IBU Prof. Dr. Lutfi Sunar, the president of the Turkish Democratic Party of North Macedonia (TDP) and MP Beycan İlyas, MP Bekim Qoku, the chairman of the Turkish National Unity Movement (TMBH) Mr. Erdoğan Saraç, the Mayor of Municipality of Turgutlu, Manisa, Türkiye, Mr. Çetin Akın, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Northwest Macedonia Mr. Mendi Qyra, president of the Chamber of Commerce of North Macedonia Trajan Angeloski, and Hakim Suma, undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Labor of North Macedonia were among the guests.
After the opening speeches, in which a folklore team performed, panels and B2B meetings took place.
