In line with its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, International Balkan University (IBU) has launched a new tree-planting campaign on its campus. The initiative, part of IBU’s broader green policy, emphasizes the importance of creating a greener, healthier environment for students, staff, and future generations.
Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Lutfi Sunar, Rector of IBU, the campaign saw the planting of numerous trees and saplings throughout the university’s campus square. Prof. Dr. Sunar personally participated in the tree-planting efforts, setting an example for the university community.
The campus square has also been redesigned to create a welcoming space for students. New benches, adorned with freshly planted greenery, offer spots for students to gather, make new friends, and enjoy conversations.
