International Balkan University (IBU) organized the Opening Ceremony of the 2024-2025 Academic Year held in the IBU Conference Hall on October 09, 2024.

Deputy Minister for Education and Science of the Republic of North Macedonia Prof. Dr. Lulzim Aliu, Ambassador of Türkiye in Skopje H.E. Fatih Ulusoy, IBU Rector Prof. Dr. Lutfi Sunar, IBU Management Board members, representatives of different institutions in North Macedonia, diplomats, politicians, IBU academic and administrative staff, and students.

At the beginning of the ceremony, a promotional video of IBU was presented, following the speeches delivered by Deputy Minister Mr. Aliu, the Rector Sunar and Ms. Blerta Imeri, the President of the Student Assembly of the IBU.

During his speech, Mr. Aliu highlighted the opportunities for growth, knowledge, and collaboration in universities. Also, Rector Sunar briefly informed the audience about the university's activities.

In addition, Ms. Imeri talked about the opportunities and services that IBU offers to its students. The ceremony ended with a family photo.

After the Opening Ceremony, the guests accompanied by the Rector Sunar visited the newly opened Balkan Dental Clinic’s facilities, which functions under the IBU.
