IBU professors and students participated in Blended Intensive Program in Estonia

Students from International Balkan University, led by Prof. Dr. Snezana Bilic and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Liza Alili Sulejmani during the period 06-11 October participated in the Blended Intensive Program-International Perspectives on Sustainability and Climate Change in Tallinn, Estonia.

 

The program was organized by TTK University of Applied Sciences from Estonia, Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen from Germany, International Balkan University, and Polytechnical Institute of Coimbra from Portugal.

 

The students participated in different workshops and activities related to sustainable societies, sustainable enterprises, sustainable environment, and digital waste where they gave their inputs and ideas, coming up with innovative solutions.

 

As a part of their activities, the students visited the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds and the Estonian Cell enterprise, both of which are great examples of engaging in sustainable practices.

 

Students were also presented with all sustainable initiatives taken in Tallinn which earned the city the title of European Green Capital in 2023.
