Assistant professor Ivan Ivanov from the IBU's Faculty of Law was honored to chair a special session titled “Bridging Cultures: The UN Alliance of Civilizations’ Impact on Global Peace,” featuring H.E. Mr. Miguel Ángel Moratinos, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and High Representative for the UN Alliance of Civilizations.

Mr. Moratinos, a distinguished statesman known worldwide as a man of peace, shared his deep wisdom and experience with the young leaders, offering invaluable advice on how each of us can contribute to creating a more inclusive and harmonious world.

With his heartfelt words, Mr. Moratinos emphasized the power of dialogue, respect, and unity in addressing the global challenges we face today. He inspired everyone in attendance to take an active role in building bridges between cultures and communities, ensuring that peace is not just a distant hope but a lived reality for future generations.

The session was not only a lesson in diplomacy but a call to action for all young leaders to champion the values of understanding, cooperation, and global harmony.
