The Faculty of Dental Medicine at the International Balkan University successfully organized the Modern Day Dentistry Symposium, which featured international participation and attracted considerable attention.

The event highlighted the latest advancements in the field of dentistry through presentations by distinguished experts.

Among the renowned international speakers were Prof. Dr. Burcu Karaduman, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Baybora Kayahan, Prof. Dr. Fulya Üçem, and Prof. Dr. Zoran Vlahovikj, who presented on a range of cutting-edge topics.

Additionally, local faculty members, including Assist. Prof. Dr. Bashkim Ismaili and Rsch. Assoc. Dr. Jasna Petrovska, contributed valuable perspectives from a regional viewpoint.

The symposium provided a platform for academic exchange and collaboration, allowing participants to engage with the most recent developments and emerging trends in modern dentistry.

- White Coat Ceremony

In a significant moment of their academic journey, first-year dentistry students participated in the traditional White Coat Ceremony, marking their official entry into the field of dental medicine.

The ceremony was accompanied by speeches from Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Seyhan Murtezan Ibrahimi and Prof. Dr. Snezana Bilic, as well as from the Dean of the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Prof. Dr. Enis Redjep.

Following these addresses, the students were formally presented with their white coats.

The White Coat Ceremony was followed by the Modern Day Dentistry Symposium, which offered a continuation of academic celebration and engagement.
