IBU Academics Contribute to Turkish Language and Turkology Studies at Sarajevo Symposium

International Balkan University (IBU) participated in the III International Symposium on Turkish Language Teaching and Turkology in the Balkans, held at the International University of Sarajevo.

 

Representing IBU at the event were Rector Prof. Dr. Lutfi Sunar, Vice-Rector Asst. Prof. Seyhan M. Ibrahimi, Asst. Prof. Özlem Kurt, and Asst. Prof. Mumin Ali, who joined distinguished academics from across the region.

 

The symposium, supported by the Turkish Maarif Foundation, provided an important platform for advancing Turkish language education and fostering cultural collaboration throughout the Balkans.

 

During the event, the IBU team actively engaged in discussions on the challenges, innovative methodologies, and future prospects of Turkish language studies in the region.

 

Prof. Dr. Sunar highlighted the significance of such gatherings, emphasizing their role in strengthening both academic and cultural ties and in promoting the sustainable development of Turkish language and Turkology in the Balkans.
