Upon an invitation of Izmir Democracy University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Marija Stevkovska and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marijana Klemenchich from the ELT Department, IBU, together with the 4th year ELT students, took part at the 6th International Conference on Educational Research on the 15th and 16th of November 2024

Asst. Prof. Dr. Marija Stevkovska as a Key Note Speaker held a lecture entitled Revolutionizing Foreign Language Education: Are AI tools educators’ friends or foes?

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marijana Klemenchich as a Session Chair, presented the topic, Internship for the ELT Students at International Balkan University, and was mentoring the ELT students for their presentations for the Conference.

The focus of the presentations was the Internship for the ELT students. The theoretical part and importance of internships was presented by Kosovare Ademi, and Hana Bakiu, The Internship in the Course English Language 1, was presented by Selma Imeri, Selime Imeri, and Ebrar Bal, The Internship at the English Language School (ELS) at IBU, was presented by Elif Belur, Anesa Bakiu, and Kubra Mustafa and The Internship in Dua Ylberin, was presented by Lindita Hajdari, Jonila Musliu, and Olivera Atanasova.

The Conference was a success and the organizers appreciated the contribution form the ELT Department at IBU very much.
