IBU Honors Past Presidents of the Board of Trustees

In a heartfelt ceremony, International Balkan University (IBU) celebrated the legacy of its former leaders by naming two of its prominent amphitheaters after past presidents of the university’s Board of Trustees.

 

The newly named Aydoğan Ademovski Hall and Hüseyin Bürge Hall now stand as lasting tributes to their dedication and vision for the institution.

 

The special event took place at the university’s campus, with a distinguished guest list that included the Rector of IBU, Prof. Dr. Lutfi Sunar; the current President of the Board of Trustees and President of the Management Board, Mr. Recep Suleyman Ozdil; and several members of the Management Board, including Dr. Bilal Sucubaşı, Mr. Aydoğan Ademovski, Mr. Imer Selmani, and Mr. Cemil Yıldız. Also present were the Secretary General of IBU, Mr. Metin Celil; Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Snezana Bilic and Asst. Prof. Dr. Seyhan Murtezan Ibrahimi; and IBU’s academic and administrative staff.

 

As part of the ceremony, framed photographs of both the previous and current presidents of the Board of Trustees were unveiled and displayed in the Board of Trustees Office, symbolizing their invaluable contributions to the university’s growth and success.

 

Prof. Dr. Lutfi Sunar, IBU’s Rector, expressed deep gratitude for the leadership shown by the honored individuals, highlighting their instrumental roles in shaping IBU into the esteemed academic institution it is today. The naming of the amphitheaters serves as a fitting recognition of their lasting impact on the university’s development.
