The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at IBU, in close cooperation with the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, hosted professional experts from the Group of Insurance Companies who through the presentations under the title: "Insurance Can Protect You, But Only If You Know How” conveyed to the IBU students the far-reaching effects, opportunities, and challenges of the insurance sector's rapid growth in our country. 

This event held on 20th of November, 2024, was a follow-up to the event titled: “Learn how insurance is protecting us today and securing us tomorrow", successfully organized in cooperation with the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia in April 2024, with main goals of increasing awareness and promoting financial literacy, education and financial inclusion of the IBU students.  

At the event, topics like the innovation in insurance, social benefits of insurance, improved understanding of insurance products and services, risk management techniques, and how to make insurance an interesting job profile for IBU students were addressed by four insurance experts from prestigious insurance companies:

- Mrs. Ralica Guberova, Executive Director, EUROINS INSURANCE and President of the Insurance Group at the Chamber of Commerce

- Mrs. Vesna Gjorceva, Member of the Management Board, MACEDONIA INSURANCE, Vienna Insurance Group (VIG)

- Mrs. Aleksandra Shkembi Antovska, Executive Director, UNIQA LIFE MACEDONIA and Vice President of the Insurance Group at the Chamber of Commerce 

- Mr. Goran Bozinovski, Manager of the Academy of Croatia Insurance - Life, CROATIA INSURANCE - LIFE, Skopje

To strengthen future cooperation, at the end of the event, the Dean and the academic staff from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Science had an opportunity to discuss further cooperation opportunities among the institutions.
