As part of their social responsibility initiatives, students from International Balkan University (IBU) visited Kindergarten 8 April in the Municipality of Shuto Orizari, Skopje. The goal of the visit was to bring smiles to young faces while making a meaningful impact in the Roma community.
The students rolled up their sleeves to paint colorful murals on the walls of the kindergarten, transforming the space into a vibrant and welcoming environment for the children. They also brought gifts and spent quality time playing and interacting with the children, creating moments of joy and connection.
This activity underscores the importance of community engagement for IBU students, giving them the opportunity to go beyond academic learning and contribute positively to society. By focusing on Shuto Orizari, the initiative aims to support and uplift the Roma community, fostering inclusivity and solidarity.
IBU stands out not only by providing students with education but also by involving them in community-building activities. Such efforts create a sense of belonging and enrich the student experience, ensuring they grow into compassionate and socially responsible individuals.
The event is another example of IBU’s commitment to shaping future leaders who not only excel academically but also work toward making a difference in the world around them.
