IBU Faculty of Dental Medicine Represented at the 8th Congress of the Balkan Association of Orthodontic Specialists
The Faculty of Dental Medicine was successfully represented at the 8th Congress of the Balkan Association of Orthodontic Specialists (BAOS 2024), titled “New Horizons in Orthodontics,” held on November 15-16, 2024, in Limassol, Cyprus, by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Radmila Dimovska and Asst. Prof. Dr. Amella Cana.
This event is the largest gathering of orthodontists in the Balkan countries.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Radmila Dimovska was an invited speaker, presenting on the topic “The Story of Clefts: From History to Artificial Intelligence.”
Asst. Prof. Dr. Amella Cana made a poster presentation titled “The Effect of Fixed Orthodontic Appliances on Periodontal Health.”
Both topics were presented with great success to over 250 colleagues, not only from the Balkans but from all around the world.
