Webinar Series for Turkish Educators by Istanbul Cerrahpasa University and IBU ELT Department
Upon the invitation of the Turkish Directorate General for Religious Teaching and in collaboration with the ELT Department, Istanbul Cerrahpasa University, the ELT Department, IBU, is organizing a series of 6 webinars for English teachers in Turkey. The first webinar, entitled Issues in the post-communicative approach and the Gen Z communication theory, was held on 10th February with Assoc. prof. dr. Igbale Miftari-Fetishi (IBU) and Assoc. prof. dr. Tuncer Can (ICU). Over 40 English teachers from primary and secondary schools in Turkey tool active part in the webinar. We would like to thank Ms Aysun Mete for the initiative and the invitation, and we look forward to the next webinars.
