"Perspectives Revealed: Graduate Experiences Workshop"

We are very pleased to share the outcomes of the workshop, "Perspectives Revealed: Graduate Experiences Workshop” that was held on Thursday 4 April 2024.

The workshop was organized by the Communication Department, FHSS, moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sanja Adjaip-Velichkovski, and held by four panelists, all former FCOM graduates who have successful carriers and hold prestigious positions in communication and PR Industry.

The panelists were:

1. Jovana Gjerasimoska, Communication Consultant in the Development Sector;

2. Xheneta Tusha, Media Monitoring Specialist in the PR sector, Government of the Republic of North Macedonia;

3. Afije Sherifi, Investigative journalist at BIRN; 

4. Viktorija Trajkovska, Social Media Manager at Proton Privacy.

The four experienced and knowledgeable young professionals shared their experience and offered advice and guidance to the students from the Communication Department, FHSS. 

From journalism to public relations, from traditional and digital marketing to social media management, the FCOM/IBU alumni talked about the wide range of career opportunities in the field of Communication and Public Relations, pointing out the ever-growing need of domestic and international businesses and organizations for the skilled commination specialists.

The workshop, besides providing students with important career guidance, was a good opportunity for students to learn about the latest trends in the booming communication industry, and offered insight to strategies for professional development, including the proposed mentorship program.
