Opening ceremony of PTT - Practice, Trending, and Teaching in Bioethics

At IBU was organized the opening ceremony of PTT - Practice, Trending, and Teaching in Bioethics, a pivotal component of the BIOSEM project hosted by International Balkan University in Skopje, Macedonia, that occurred on 15th of April, 2024.

This initiative represents a beacon of progress and innovation in education, particularly in the crucial realm of environmental bioethics.

The BIOSEM project, driven by the University of Ljubljana in collaboration with a diverse network of academics, educators, and NGO representatives, addresses the pressing need for environmental bioethics education in secondary schools. With a focus on empowering future generations, the project centers on seven key topics, including Globalization and Bioethics, Climate Change, and Ecosystem Health.

During the opening ceremony of the event insights, reflections and remarks were given by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Nikola Dacev, Professor Bejtulla Demiri as project coordinator, Professor Kire Sharlamanov, and Teaching Assistant Mevla Yahya.
