The Erasmus+ Project titled "Traces of the Ancient", jointly carried out by the International Balkan University - Projects and Research Office (PRO) and TÜRGEV Foundation, have concluded with the closing ceremony and certificate program on Tuesday, April 16th on the IBU campus.

The closing event of the project ended with an exchange of opinion and evaluations attended by Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar, Rector of International Balkan University, Kezban Ateş, Deputy General Manager of TÜRGEV, the project leader Mumin Ali PhD, faculty members and field researchers.

The Traces of the Ancients project is a crucial initiative that aims to preserve cultural heritage and values that are at risk of disappearance and pass them down to future generations. The project has yielded valuable data, including an oral history study that records the lives, experiences, and cultural practices of individuals in different regions of North Macedonia during the month of Ramadan.

Additionally, a successful two-week field research was conducted as part of the project, which involved a seventeen-day oral history study in various cities and villages of North Macedonia.
