ELT students attended the Hamilton House Academic Seminar
The students from the ELT department had a wonderful opportunity to attend the Hamilton House Academic Seminar: The future of ELT: Exploring Beyond Borders!, held at the Hilton Hotel in Skopje on 19th April, 2024.
There were four seminars covering the following topics: The future of ELT; AI apps & the Lingua Franca of the 21st century; Mindfulness &socio-emotional teaching in our classrooms; The Wilsons + Hamilton House Interactive Taking Pen; and Fun and games with the Wilsons.
Over 500 pre-service and in-service teachers from around the country attended this amazing event, packed with interesting activities to be used with young and adult EFL learners and valuable prizes for the participants, particularly for our students. The ELT department would like to thank the organizer of the event, Ms Elizabeta Javorac, for the warm welcome and unique experience for our students.
We hope that professional seminars like this one would encourage our students to pursue their dream to become an English teacher.
