IBU organized a guest lecture on statelessness delivered by Mrs. Teodora Kjoseva Kostadinovska
In the framework of the International Private Law Course, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natalija Shikova and Asst. Leposava Ognjanoska Stavrovska from the IBU Faculty of Law (FLAW) organized a guest lecture on statelessness in cooperation with the Macedonian Young Lawyers Association (MYLA).
Mrs. Teodora Kjoseva Kostadinovska, Lawyer at MYLA, explained the main contours of this complex legal phenomenon under international law but also shared positive examples from MYLA's active work on the ground in the prevention and reduction of statelessness.
This lecture raised interest about the topic which concerns not only future lawyers but all citizens, as stateless persons are invisible to the system but live with us.
