The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at the International Balkan University hosted its first doctoral dissertation defense, attended by professors, students, researchers, and guests.

 

Kristina Velickovska on May 29, 2024, successfully defended her dissertation titled "Income Inequality Determinants: Developed vs. Developing European Countries," mentored by Prof. Dr. Violeta Madzova.

 

Her research explored economic disparities in European countries, sparking significant academic discussions.

 

The committee praised her rigorous methodology and substantial contributions to economics. Velickovska's detailed presentation and adept handling of questions led to the unanimous approval of her dissertation.
