IBU organized a campaign in support of Palestine

International Balkan University organized a special program was held to show solidarity with the people of Gaza.

 

The event began with a one-minute silence to honor those affected by the conflict.

 

Following this, balloons were released, symbolizing the bombardment in Gaza, with all attendees informed beforehand.

 

There was a speech delivered by the student parliament president, Blerta Imeri, and poetry interpreted by Şevval Arpacı, expressing messages of support and resilience.

 

Malike Denizcan Dizdar performed a song that conveyed a powerful message of solidarity.

 

A petition advocating for peace and justice was available for signatures, allowing attendees to take direct action to stop the genocide in Palestine.

 

Throughout the event, Palestinian support songs played in the background, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.

 

Also, in the scope of the event, an exhibition is organized to showcase the atrocities in Gaza.

 

To conclude the day, artists Semra Rashidi and Naim Jahja came together to paint the Palestinian flag, creating a powerful visual symbol of solidarity.

During tomorrow’s day, Thursday, a humanitarian bazaar is going to take place at the campus from 11 AM, and the collected money is going to be sent to help people in Palestine.
