IBU hosted the representatives of ELTAM
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Igballe Miftari-Fetishi, the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Asst. Prof. Dr. Emin Idrizi, the Head of the ELT Department, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Marija Stevkovska had a meeting with Ms. Miroslava Pavlova Anevska, the president of ELTAM, and Ms. Angelina Kostova, the Secondary School Competitions Coordinator at ELTAM.
Possibilities for potential cooperation between the ELT Department and the English Language Teachers' Association of the Republic of North Macedonia were discussed.
As a result, a series of workshops and webinars will be organized in the upcoming period, and further collaboration practices will be established in the following academic year.
In this way, the ELT staff will endeavor to bridge the gap between academia and teaching in the EFL classroom, thus enabling both our students and in-service English teachers to share experiences regarding effective teaching practices.
