International Balkan University (IBU) organized an event Celebration of the World Industrial Design Day "Let’s get emotional", as a member of the World Design Organization (WDO). @worlddesignorg

The event was hybrid-online and in-person and was led by Asst. Prof. Marija Miloshevska Janakieska and Asst. Arbresha Ibrahimi.

Prof. Dr. Lutfi Sunar, the Rector of IBU, and Mr. Bertrand Derome, The WDO General Manager gave a speech at the beginning.

Then, a fruitful panel discussion about the correlation between design and emotions was developed with the esteemed guests:

- Judit Varhelyi from Metropolitan University, Budapest;
- Nada Matičič from the Faculty of Design, Ljubljana;
- Arjit Singh from Young Design Circle;
- Jasminka Namicheva, Curator Consultant Architect of the Department of History of Architecture and Design at the Museum of the City of Skopje;
- Marija Vteroska, Artist and Professor at the Faculty of Design at AUE-FON Skopje;
- Maja Gjureska, Professor at the Faculty of Art and Design at IBU, and
- Marko Icev, Architect and Professor at the Department of Architecture, FENG-IBU.

The event ended with an online exhibition showcasing projects from students from the Department of Architecture.
