IBU professors attended the World Conference on Earthquake Engineering 2024 in Italy
Academic members of the Faculty of Engineering Asst. Prof. Dr. Jordan Bojadjiev (Department of Civil Engineering) and Dr. Kefajet Edip (Department of Architecture) attended the 18th World Conference on Earthquake Engineering (WCEE18) in Milan, Italy.
The conference was held between the 30th of June and the 5th of July 2024.
Dr. Kefajet Edip presented her research paper titled "Seismic risk assessment at urban scale for earthquake safe urban planning - a case study in Skopje" (Edip & Apostolska, 2024) on 2nd of July, 2024.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Jordan Bojadjiev presented his research paper titled "Cost-effective method for improving the seismic response of masonry infill walls in RC frame structures" (Bojadjiev, Apostolska, Nechevska-Cvetanovska, Varevac, Bojadjieva, 2024) on 5th of July, 2024.
