"Current Situation of Macedonian Mausoleum and Dervish Lodges"
The project supported by International Balkan University and conducted by Prof. Dr. Ismail Güleç, entitled "Current Situation of Macedonian Mausoleum and Dervish Lodges," was completed after ten days of intensive fieldwork.
During these fieldwork days, mausoleums and lodges in various villages and cities were visited and photographed by Prof. Dr. Güleç and Dr. Mümin Ali.
Dervish lodges and mausoleums around Skopje, Ohrid, Shtip, Tetovo, Kichevo, Bitola, Negotino, Struga, Strumica, Prilep, Kavadar, Valandovo, Dojran, Radovish, Konche, Resen, Debar, Veles, Berovo, Kratova, Gostivar, Kochana, Kumanovo, Demir Kapija, Makedenski Brod and surroundings of all these cities were visited and collected information about their current situation.
The third and final phase of the project consists of compiling and reporting the collected data. Work continues to complete the report and turn it into a book within the next three months.
