Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Porjazoska Kujundziski delivered a lecture titled "Transversal Skills in Applied Artificial Intelligence" as a part of the dissemination activities related to the Erasmus+ TSAAI project in front of the students and academic staff of the St. Aloysius College, Elthuruth, Thrissur, India and their partner institutions.

 

This event, organized by the St. Chavara Centre for Teaching Excellence and Educational Innovation (SCCTEEI), attracted 114 attendees to the session.

 

The lecture focused on the full progress of the digital age, the anticipation of the high demand for employment in artificial intelligence profiles, and the discrepancy between the high demand for profiles with digital competencies in the realm of artificial intelligence and the pace of training we have today at the universities.

 

The educational platform FutuIA developed within this project will give a comprehensive interdisciplinary AI training program covering fundamental AI technologies, practical applications in computer science and other fields, and addressing societal, ethical, and legal aspects.

 

The participants' feedback on this lecture was very positive and opened the possibilities of organizing similar events and opportunities for academic cooperation in this project and other initiatives, as well.
