Call for 100% scholarships for refugee students or other beneficiaries of humanitarian protection^[1]at the International Balkan University

We are very pleased to announce that International Balkan University in partnership with UNHCR North Macedonia, for the academic year 2024/2025, is offering up to 5 full scholarships for refugee students or other beneficiaries of humanitarian protection granted by North Macedonia, in the following departments: Political Sciences and International Relations, Public Relations and Marketing Communications, Industrial Engineering*, Management, Civil Engineering, Banking and Finance, E-business, Psychological Counseling, and Guidance.

In the past 18 years since the foundation, more than 1500 students have benefited from the Scholarship Program and today represent highly qualified professionals, changers of tomorrow, and decision-makers for a better world. The duration of the granted scholarship is for full length of studies (4 academic years), starting from 2024/2025. 

Enrollment conditions:

Candidates with completed secondary education in accordance with Article 134 paragraph 2 of the Law on Higher Education of the Republic of North Macedonia and solid knowledge of the English language have the right to enroll.

All candidates take an internal English Language Proficiency Test.

Candidates who will not show success will be directed to attend the Preparatory Program in English within the University, during one academic year. The Preparatory Program equips the students with the necessary skills to be able to follow their education in English language. Upon successful completion of the Preparatory Program in English, students begin their first cycle studies. Failure to complete the Program will lead to the termination of the scholarship contract.

- Diploma and certificates of completed secondary education

- Nostrification of diploma qualification if secondary education was completed abroad

- Enrollment form (the same is filled in the premises of the University or through online registration)

- Passport/ID copy.
