IBU Hosts Orientation Lecture for New English Language School Students

International Balkan University (IBU) organized an Orientation Lecture for newly registered students of the English Language School (ELS), held in the IBU Conference Hall. The event aimed to welcome and inform freshmen about the university’s education system, services, and administrative procedures.

 

The Rector of IBU, Prof. Dr. Lutfi Sunar, delivered an opening speech, providing a detailed overview of the education process at IBU and highlighting the various student services offered. His address emphasized the university’s commitment to supporting student success.

 

Following the Rector’s speech, Mr. Serdar Başutku, ELS Coordinator, introduced the specifics of the English Language School program, offering guidance on course structures and the academic path students can expect.

 

Legal procedures and administrative information were provided by Mr. Ibrahim Murat, Deputy Secretary General, and Mr. Metin Purde, Head of Legal Affairs Office, ensuring that students were fully informed about legal obligations during their time at the university.

 

Additionally, Mr. Emre Başdağ and Ms. Medina Domazeti, web developers from IBU’s IT Unit, explained the functions of the Student Information System (Hello System). They guided students on how to navigate the system, which will play a vital role in managing their academic journey at IBU.

 

The Orientation Lecture marks the beginning of a new academic chapter for ELS students, setting a positive tone for their educational experience at IBU.
