A groundbreaking event focused on the intersection of digital media and artificial intelligence (AI) language models kicked off on November 28, 2024, in Skopje at the International Balkan University.

The Digital Media and National Artificial Intelligence Language Model Forum is bringing together academics, researchers, and industry professionals from Türkiye and the Balkans to discuss and develop innovative solutions in AI, digital media, and national language models.

The forum aims to foster regional and international cooperation, enabling participants to share knowledge, exchange experiences, and collaborate on strategies for future projects in the rapidly evolving field of AI and digital media.

The opening ceremony was marked by keynote speeches from notable figures, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Seyhan Murtezan Ibrahimi, Vice-Rector of International Balkan University; Prof. Dr. Mustafa ORÇAN, Vice-Rector of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University; and Mrs. Şeyma Babayiğit, Coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in Skopje.

The event has attracted a wide range of stakeholders, with participating institutions including Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Ankara Social Sciences University, Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, and International Balkan University.
