STUDENT CARD

Dear Students,

When you arrive at our university, you must fill out your information completely and upload a current photo through the Student Information System to receive your student ID cards without any problems. Completing these steps will speed up your access to on-campus services and make your transactions easier.

Important Reminder:

For your student ID cards to be prepared, you must upload your information and photo to our system promptly. Otherwise, your ID cards will not be ready and you will have to go through security checks when you enter the campus. This may delay your participation in activities within the university and cause you to encounter unexpected problems.

ENGLISH PLACEMENT TEST (EXEMPTION EXAM)

Dear Students,

We want to inform you that you will need to enter the English Placement Test (Exemption Exam) before you can begin your studies which will evaluate your English proficiency level.

The exemption exam will be organized on the following dates:

English Placement Test (Exemption Exam) II: September 10, 2024

English Placement Test (Exemption Exam) III: September 19, 2024

English Placement Test (Exemption Exam) IV: September 30, 2024

Exam time: 11:00

You need to register for the English Placement Test (Exemption Exam).

* Students from Türkiye you will receive the link from the Istanbul office.

* Students from the Balkan region, the link is included in your scholarship email.

WELCOMING SUPPORT*

• Individual Welcoming Request: Students must fill out the Online Form at www.balkan.edu.tr/karsilama at least 5 working days before the arrival date and make a welcoming request.

• Group Welcoming Request: Groups whose collective arrivals are organized by the agency or the Istanbul Office must contact the University at least 3 working days before the arrival, send their student lists, and make a welcoming request.

• Welcoming service is provided only on weekdays (Monday - Friday).

• Students' arrival times in North Macedonia must be between 08:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

• Students must inform the Istanbul Office at least 24 hours in advance if there is a change in their flight or bus information. Otherwise, our university will not be responsible for the non-provision of the welcoming service.
