Step-by-Step Transfer Procedure

Online Application Submission:

Eligibility: This system is open to all current and prospective students who have earned ECTS credits at another accredited higher education institution and wish to transfer those credits to IBU.

Application Portal: Applications must be submitted through the official portal: hello.ibu.edu.mk/Apply/Transfer

Required Documentation:

A copy of passport;

A copy of the birth certificate;

Official Transcripts: Applicants must upload their academic transcripts, showing completed courses and the respective ECTS credits earned.

Course Descriptors: Detailed descriptions of the courses must be submitted to facilitate an accurate evaluation of the content. Documents must be in English, or, if originally issued in another language, officially translated into English.

Evaluation Criteria:

The evaluation of transfer applications will be conducted by the relevant academic committees at IBU.

The key criteria include:

Course Compatibility: Each course will be assessed based on its equivalency to the corresponding course at IBU in terms of content, learning outcomes, and ECTS credits.

Applications will only be considered if they are complete and submitted within the designated timeframe.

Communication of Results

Upon completion of the evaluation process, applicants will be notified of the outcome via the email address they provide during the application process. This communication will include detailed instructions on the next steps should the transfer request be approved.

Important Notes

Incomplete Applications: Applications that do not include the required documentation or that are submitted after the respective deadlines will not be considered for evaluation.
